and nobody can do it all on their own.
Learned by doing.
Perfectly imperfect. ♡
Use your hands.Make something useful.
Make something beautiful.
This is the studio-table side of Life With Training Wheels: bread on the counter, thread everywhere, jeans getting a second life, half-finished experiments, and the quiet satisfaction of making something real.
See What I’m Making This Week →Two things you can actually
order or hand me right now.
I’m starting small on purpose. This week I’m taking sourdough pre-orders and a limited number of sewing/mending requests while the larger handmade shop grows around them.

Fresh bread, baked in small batches.
Reserve a loaf from this week’s bake. I’m keeping the first round intentionally small so I can dial in timing, pickup, flavors and how many loaves I can comfortably make at once.
- Small-batch naturally leavened sourdough
- Pre-order rather than hoping there is an extra loaf
- Local pickup details confirmed after ordering
- Weekly flavors and availability can change as I experiment
Friday pickup/delivery: order by Wednesday at 8 PM.
Monday pickup/delivery: order by Saturday at 2 PM.
Local Pickup: Southwest Denver, near Sheridan & Jewell. Exact pickup address will be provided after your order is placed.
Limited Local Delivery: Available in select nearby areas. Delivery availability will be confirmed after ordering. Choose your loaves on the pre-order page, then use the Order Notes box at checkout to tell me Friday or Monday and pickup or delivery.

Before you toss it, let me see if we can save it.
I’m opening a handful of spots for simple clothing repairs and creative mending, especially denim. Functional fixes are welcome, and visible mending can become part repair, part tiny wearable artwork.
- Torn or worn jeans and denim repairs
- Simple patches and reinforcement
- Visible mending and decorative repair by request
- Minor sewing repairs I’m comfortable taking on
- Photo review first so I can tell you whether it’s a good fit
Here are a few recent projects, from practical seam repair to decorative visible mending.

Today’s menu is small.
The studio is not.
Create will eventually hold all the things I make, learn, repair, reinvent and occasionally cover the dining room table with.
Bread, experiments, starter life and eventually hands-on workshops.
Repairs, bags, useful little things, upcycled clothing and whatever the fabric wants to become.
Learning, making and small handmade pieces as the skills grow.
Paint, cardboard, found objects, seasonal crafts and giving old things a stranger, better second life.

I’m not pretending
everything is mastered.
That is kind of the point of Life With Training Wheels. Some things here are skills I’ve practiced for years. Others are things I’m actively learning and getting better at in public. I’ll be transparent about which is which, and I won’t take on a repair or project I don’t think I can do well.
Ask About a Project →Handmade bags, bookmarks, upcycled clothing, crochet, knit pieces, seasonal crafts & workshops.
Not all at once. That would require eight arms and a much larger craft room. But yes, this is where all of it belongs.
“Make it useful. Make it beautiful. Learn something while you’re at it.”
