🧡 Three Ways to Create With Us
Host an Event
Bring a Paint or Craft Party to your retirement community, assisted living facility, school, rec program, club, family gathering, birthday or private event. Choose a current project or ask about a custom theme. One-time and recurring programs are available.
Join an Event
Choose the projects that interest you and join the local interest list. Once a project has enough interest, we’ll work on a local venue and date, then give everyone on the list first access to registration. No payment is required to join an interest list.
DIY at Home
Select projects will be offered as Life With Training Wheels DIY Kits with materials and step-by-step instructions. Perfect for family craft days, homeschool activities, gifts, girls’ nights at home or anyone who wants the project without the party.
🚲 How the Interest List Works
Pick a project → Join the interest list → We gather the group → We find a local venue & date → You get first access → We CREATE! 🎨
For most public events, we’ll begin planning once approximately 10 people have expressed interest. Final scheduling depends on venue availability, project costs and expected attendance.
🎨 What Happens at an Event?
You don’t need to be “artistic,” know how to paint, or make yours look exactly like the example. I’ll guide the group step by step while leaving plenty of room for everyone to make the project their own.
Most events include: project materials and supplies • step-by-step instruction • setup and cleanup of craft materials • beginner-friendly techniques • a relaxed, supportive environment • your finished project to take home.
👩👧 Kids, Families & Mom + Me
Children’s events, family craft nights and parent-and-child projects designed for creating together. Perfect for schools, recreation centers, homeschool groups and community organizations.
💕 Date Night, Friends & Grown-Up Craft Nights
Bring a partner, friends, coworkers or come on your own for relaxed creative evenings for adults. Seasonal paint nights, craft nights and special events rotate throughout the year.
🌿 Creative Programs for Seniors
Adaptable creative programs are available for independent living and retirement communities, assisted living facilities, senior centers, adult day programs and community groups. Projects can be selected around the abilities and interests of your residents, with materials and guided instruction included.
One-time seasonal activities and recurring creative programming are both available. Group pricing can be arranged directly with communities.
