The Astrology right now is crazy. We have a huge pileup of planets in Aries and are just coming off of a big and potentially very healing and motivating New Moon on the 17th. I don’t know about you, but I am definitely feeling all this energy. Looking at it, its definitely part of why I’ve been absent from my website, youtube and in all honesty, myself. All this Aries stellium energy is in my 3rd house in opposition to a stellium I have in my 9th house of belief systems. I also had my exact Saturn opposition (aka mid-life crisis energy) within the last couple weeks. So…..needless to say, I’ve been feeling the astrology on a very deep and personal way. Day by Day Transits
- Sunday, April 19th – Mars in Aries is conjunct Saturn in Aries. Sun enters Taurus. This is a big one. This is where the rubber meets the road. Mars wants to go fast, especially in its home sign of Aries. This is our motivation, our drive, our will power. It can also be impulsive and angry and can cut things off. Saturn moves slower, wants to build foundations, wants you to think twice. It is the opposite of impulsive. Mars is hot. Saturn is cold. Saturn requires hard work. So generally speaking, this might be a day where you have a decision to make and realize you have to commit to something and work hard at it (Saturn) in order to get the things you want (Mars) and understand your own sovereignty and take responsibility for where and what you are (Aries). This is where the rubber meets the road. This conjunction marks the beginning of a two year cycle of where we need to work hard and methodically to achieve the things we want to achieve. Sun in Taurus is also helping us slow down, and helping to make sure we are connected to our values and take stock of the resources we have in order to accomplish the things we want to accomplish. - Monday, April 20th – Mercury in Aries conjunct Saturn in Aries. Mercury in Aries conjunct Mars in Aries. We have two more important conjunctions on Monday. Mercury conjunct Saturn begins a one year cycle of where we need to learn how to take a breath (Saturn) before speaking (Mercury) our truth (Aries). Where we need to be serious in our communications, and our thoughts, and our commerce and travels, in a way that honors our own voice and sovereignty. Mercury conjunct Mars happens more frequently, so this energy is a little bit quicker, but it can lead to harsh conversations, mishaps in travel (be extra careful traveling today). Be mindful of being reactionary today and remember to take a pause before responding. Be mindful of not jumping to conclusions. However, if you need to have conversations that you have been putting off, this could give you the motivation and energy to do so. Just be aware of how you are speaking and that you are also listening.
- Tuesday, April 21st & Wednesday, April 22nd – Nothing significant to note.
- Thursday, April 23rd – Venus in Taurus is conjunct Uranus in Taurus at 29 degrees. Venus enters Gemini. Uranus is the planet of sudden shocks and unpredictable events, or sudden insights. In Taurus it has been shaking things up since 2018 in our finances, resources, the arts, etc. And more specifically, whatever area of life Taurus falls in in your birth chart. Venus is the planet of beauty, love, finances and value systems. When these two meet up, especially at the last degree of Taurus, there might be one more shake-up in this area, one final burst of insight & clarity, or perhaps release of stagnant energy, or perhaps blessing arriving, in this area before Uranus moves into Gemini in a few days. Venus is going to enter into Gemini first though, which will bring more options and ideas and communication to the table.
- Friday, April 24th – Nothing significant to note.
- Saturday, April 25th – Sun in Taurus Squares Pluto in Aquarius. Uranus enters Gemini. Squares are moments of challenge and where we might need to make a decision on something to move forward. Sun (our ego, our drive, our soul’s purpose) is focused in Taurus on our resources, our money, and our overall values and what we find beautiful and worthy. Pluto in Aquarius is concerned with power structures, transformation, seeking truth and how to break out of the boxes that we have been in (Aquarius) and how to liberate ourselves from the darkness in our collective society. This square may be felt as a challenge to our value system and we may be faced with a decision on how we are going to engage with that challenge. Uranus entering Gemini is a big deal. It moves through each sign slowly (roughly 8 years). The last time Uranus was in Gemini was in 1941 to 1949 – the height of WWII and the formation of the United Nations. Before that was 1859-1866 during the U.S. Civil War and before that 1774-1782 during the American Revolutionary War. Besides conflict and the restructuring of thoughts and societies, these times also had major advancements in technology and communication. With Gemini, in mundane astrology, representing communications, commerce & trade, transportation, schools, public opinion, intellectual trends and general adaptability of people, and Uranus being the planet of radical change, revolution, and disruption of status quo, we can expect to see these things manifest in the collective world over the next 7-8 years. Both Gemini and Uranus represent technology too, so I imagine there will be lots of stuff going on with advances in AI (or perhaps the avoidance of it). We need to remember that as a collective, we have the power to manifest these energies in a more positive way or more lower frequency (negative) way. We need to mindful of where and how we are utilizing and/or reacting to these energies and work together to bring about the best movement possible. It doesn’t have to feel doom and gloom, it can feel exciting and liberating. Uranus is about Freedom. To manifest this in the best way possible, let’s focus on that. Freedom & Sovereignty.
